Oi oi
Those same people were confident the strategy for Kane was going to work.

We'll be in a better position if we sign a striker for this season.
At some point, the club will have to start paying what it takes to stay among the big boys. It's inevitable. It's why clubs like Arsenal and Spurs have been on the decline in Europe over the past few seasons.
Can't remember = making it up as you go along. ;-)I can’t remember if it was pounds or Euros, but 850k a week plus a big agent fee for the fat greasy ****.
The club have backed every manager, all have made big signings in their time post the takeover so why would that stop. Our top players are well paid, but aren't signed on crazy wages, like the trafford tramps did with Sanchez. I don't remember Aguero, Toure or Silva signing for stupid money, if thats all they wanted they wouldn't have lasted so long at the club.Money, Garry Cook, and Mancini.
Judging by our recent player succession process (Kompany, Aguero, Hart etc), I don't have a lot of confidence around the club's hierarchy having Pep's successor on their radar yet.
Don't underestimate the power of having a coach of Pep's stature on board. I know that a number of people around the club think that he's irreplaceable.
Whoever takes over from Pep will have problems, especially if the club doesn't back them in the transfer market.
Don't get complacent. Nothing lasts forever. The reason why Arsenal and Spurs are on the decline is because they don’t sign any decent players, totally different to City. For as long as Khaldoon is at City, we will always have a sensible value for a player depending on their level of quality. We are fucking light years ahead of Spurs and Arsenal, if you can’t see that then you need to question your own football knowledge.
Haven't we recently spent 100M on a player and been looking to spend 100M+ on another? We'll be in a better position if we sign a striker for this season.

Hopefully that gets put back a few weeks so they can grind a few inches off David Silva’s chin.Oh well at least we‘ve got some nice statues of Vinny and David to look at on Saturday
Pay what he wants and fuck yourself for years. The moment we start paying mega wages is the day we have lost control of ourselves. I can’t see how paying north of £600k per week is sustainable. Barca are giving a lot of clubs a good example of why you shouldn’t smash you’re wage structure to bits. Can't remember = making it up as you go along. ;-)
Haaland won't come to City because Real and/or the rags will pay what he wants, and we won’t want to deal with a pair of two bob conmen like Raiola and Alfie Haaland.
Dance with the devil and there's a price to pay.
