Doesn’t make it less of a fact.Always amusing how much he's lauded for selective former transfers, but can't be criticised when it goes tits up though.
Nice position to be in.

Ditto.I will happily fall flat on my face due to stupid optimism over and over again until I get it right one time. It's part of the fun of the transfer window!
Would love Lewandowski but think it would be too much money plus don't think Bayren wouldn't like to deal with us
He is not a regular 33 years old..
still coming towards the end of his career.
If it happens it would be a panic buy.
Paying over the odds for an ageing player near the end of the window is what we used to laugh at other clubs doing.
Yeah, after tapping up Leroy for a year or so and playing hard ball on the price, they are not giving us fuckall. It isn't funny how every player linked to us is automatically gonna cost an astronomical amount, and yet we are seemingly only ever offered 2 year loans with options to buy for any of ours.Would love Lewandowski but think it would be too much money plus don't think Bayren wouldn't like to deal with us
Generally. NoWhy would they even consider selling him?
It's like a child's patiently build sea-defence system built on sand in the face of the tide. We know it wont work but we do it anyway, and we even take delight in it, and at the end when the water runs amok we stamp all over it and run back to the tent one day older and really none the wiser? maybe some learn. But soon they will be in their deck-chair with brain cells dying. All that we can do is impact and contribute to this world while are here so that when our children inherit it it is a better world.
He looks like he's got plenty of years left in him and we never worry about resale
