Agreed it’s more his opinion than anything concrete. Either way we keep Bernardo and Laporte than we have had a decent window despite the striker fuck up

We were immensely poor that game. Kept losing simple duels, misplaced passes, no pressing. Backline shaking because certain Mendy was ridiculously easy to get past, Aké not in the best of shapes or confidence in there either. We had 8 players return a few days ago for that game. Totally down to situation.

I agree there will be moments where we need a striker, even today, some of those crosses into the box, a 9 would've finished them off, could've been a cricket score. But I'm confident we can work it out for one more season.
