I think we just need to trust Torres. He's improving every game he plays. I was a big critic as I didn't see him as a striker, at Valencia he didn't show any striker instincts. But now watching him for us he knows where to be in the box, his runs in behind are getting better. His finishing is brilliant.

I would love a striker to come in, but if we make our own with Ferran and he stays and becomes our legend and becomes that 20 goal a season striker I think it will be even better.

Plus what he shared on his instagram has made me want him to be that striker for us even more

4m is a lot for 1 transfer. 40m??? It's just distasteful.

Because his client may not move for 4 five years so that's 1 payment over that time. He may never move again but it's the price to have to pay to these super agents. I wouldn't do it for just anyone but he's a special player

The players look motivated now. Unless we suffer another injury disaster from our CB's like 2019 season then I still see us as favourites for the title and co-favourites for the CL. This striker fiasco will only motivate the squad to remind the league why we've won this 3 times the last 4 years. The Rags and Cristina also needs a reality check. I think they're getting a little giddy now that they're starting to forget the last 8 seasons they've finished behind us.
