Overall and with a little bit of reflection this window has been ok. Sure we have not got all the players we wanted but we also kept Silva & Laporte. Adding Grealish for Sergio is an upgrade in terms of end product on the field. Dias & Stones contracts are also a welcome sign that our defence is settled now for the next few years.
Once Pep finds the right balance in midfield we will be a tough team to beat. I would like him to find a way to play Silva and De Bruyne with Foden and Jack if possible in the big games barring injuries.
The Forward, LB & Dm positions remain a work in progress.
The only annoying aspect of this window was the amount of times we got linked and snubbed\used. Most of it was most probably made up but imo City need to be more pro active in distancing themselves. I am also glad the club has decided not to pay stupid money for players just because we may have a problem position.
Mendy can get fucked and his association with us is now stained.
Glad to get back to discussing Pep's mad tactics until January.
