If Kane stays at Spurs for another season he might aswell stay until retirement. His window of opportunity to move is short unless the fee is heavily reduced. It’s now it never for Kane.

Why, in what way is it now or never? If we are saying he has a good 5 more years in him, then next year he will have a good 4 more years in him, and an easier time moving possibly. He may have made up his mind now is his time, but makes no sense for it to be now or never, unless it is his final year playing.

Any news on Kane and Grealish?

Nothing will move before the window opens. There are meetings next week with current players for squad renewals and then things will speed up.

One issue to consider for both us and City is when to go official bid on Kane.

Spurs can ask more money if he tops scoring chart at Euros, which we don't want.

But we also don't want to throw down too early in case he gets injured at the tournament.

Once you hear Spurs have rejected our offer, you can assume the deal is close.

Agree and as i have said numerous times - Clubs like R Madrd are in the financial shit. Their hope for the transfer market is that other clubs will be more in the shit or they get crazy money for the likes of Odegaard and the likes of Bale leave with no additional cost incurred. Even then they wont have much to splash about and of course PSG will not be low balled. So there is no way they are getting Mbappe, the only way it happens is if he lets his contract run down. But even if he does that I doubt R Madrid will offer the best deal, not by a long way.

Who would offer him more money if he was on a free than Real ? Not us ? Not PSG as he is leaving g them not Bayern not Barcelona

Any chance he could convince Kane to give him one more year or is it too late?

In 12 months time Kane will be close to 29 and his price would be impacted further.

I don't see why Pochettino would want to stand in Kane's way, they are miles off a trophy.

They actually need to sell Kane to start moving forward as a club, whatever their stance in public over the player.

Final……….squad contracts……recruitment.

That’s the order of the day, won’t be until after a week past the final till they even look at things properly on the recruitment side, nail the extensions then turn the chats into real transfer conversations.

Remember it’s three options for each position so we will be hearing some rubbish, for the striker I still think we are in a Kane/Haaland/someone else mode despite what everyone thinks or says.

Now or never for the fee levy wants and the club Kane wants to join imo. I can’t see city waiting around another season with other players coming on the market. Maybe he can still move to a lesser team in the future but if he wants city it’s now.

I see. I misunderstood, I thought you meant A move rather than This move.

How exactly will Kane being the top scorer at the Euros increase his value? This isn't some young up and comer, he got the most goals and assists in the best league in the world and has been there or there about the top scores for like last 5 years or so
