A couple months of bad form is enough to half your value now?

People are forgetting what he has done, acting like he's finished. It's hilarious.

We valued Sane at 140m with 2 years left on his contract, and would have got it if not for his injury.

Sterling is easily worth the same, if not more. Have you all forgotten how good he is?

Sterling worth more than 140m?? Really??

Considering that's what Barca paid for Coutinho and Dembele, and what Madrid paid for Hazard with 1 year left on his deal, I'd say so.

It's irrelevant though, because he's not for sale and some people are going to look very silly when he extends this summer.

You can value Sterling at whatever you think, we aren't getting 140m for him. We will never know what we would have got for Sane because it didn't happen.

As that article is mentioning, if we want Grealish then we probably need to make room and Sterling makes the most sense at the moment.

We paid 50m, hes won us trophies and if we got back any sort of profit it would be nice for the books and get us Grealish for minimal spend.

Alternative, we pray Sterling gets better or even worse gets injured like Sane and then he is running down his contract and moves for nothing or 30/40m next summer.

Completely irrelevant, Barca are stupid and look at the state they are in.

I think its all bollocks because no one in Europe will spend 80m this summer unless its Haaland and it definitely wouldn't be Sterling unless he has some unreal turn of form and single handedly wins the Euros, in which case we would sign him up anyway. For the record I think he gets a new contract simply because we can't afford to lose him for nothing.

Getting rid of Sterling for Grealish makes zero sense. They're the same age, completely different players, and Sterling is better. It would be like forcing out Jesus for Calvert-Lewin.
