Based on latest rumours we would be fucked if all Sterling, Jesus, Bernardo, Laporte would opt to move on seeking a different adventure.
Getting shafted on selling transfer fees for them and charged through the dirt when we try to buy replacement..
I still do not trust Stones that he will deliver seasons like this one in a consistent way, maybe this was his best ever and only way is down for him.
Same for Gundogan who will not be anywhere close again to being topscorer. Possibly we have seen Mahrez's best City season too. To me it makes more sense at this point to cash in on Mahrez given his age than someone like Sterling or Jesus or Bernardo.
If we replace Kun with a top striker (Haaland, Kane), finally sell the deadwood Mendy and get in a good LB, and maybe sell ake and get a younger CB prospect who is happy to play less than 10 games imo that would be the transfer window we need.
But if we have to replace Sterling and Jesus and Laporte and Bernardo on top of that, wow thats quite a task and a very hard season to bed all replacements in and what the guarantee their replacement are better than them who dont seek first team opportunities straight away.
I kind of hope they all have a shitty EURO because if they star in it they will be more inclined to give up the "rotated" City role to a first team role somewhere else.
