I think we always planned to make changes regardless of the result on Saturday.
The squad this season was put together with the intention of playing EVERY 3/4 days from September until the end of May.
We played one game short of the maximum this season, which was the FA cup final, so the squad had to be big.
However Pep has said before he prefers about 18-20 max in his group, so I expect to see some key players leave, but replaced with 'starters'.
So the likely is 3/4 out and 2 in!
And incorporate Doyle, Palmer and maybe Delap in to the first team squad

Based on latest rumours we would be fucked if all Sterling, Jesus, Bernardo, Laporte would opt to move on seeking a different adventure.
Getting shafted on selling transfer fees for them and charged through the dirt when we try to buy replacement..

I still do not trust Stones that he will deliver seasons like this one in a consistent way, maybe this was his best ever and only way is down for him.

Same for Gundogan who will not be anywhere close again to being topscorer. Possibly we have seen Mahrez's best City season too. To me it makes more sense at this point to cash in on Mahrez given his age than someone like Sterling or Jesus or Bernardo.

If we replace Kun with a top striker (Haaland, Kane), finally sell the deadwood Mendy and get in a good LB, and maybe sell ake and get a younger CB prospect who is happy to play less than 10 games imo that would be the transfer window we need.
But if we have to replace Sterling and Jesus and Laporte and Bernardo on top of that, wow thats quite a task and a very hard season to bed all replacements in and what the guarantee their replacement are better than them who dont seek first team opportunities straight away.

I kind of hope they all have a shitty EURO because if they star in it they will be more inclined to give up the "rotated" City role to a first team role somewhere else.

It's bollocks. Press just jumping on the wagon to try kick us fans whilst most of us are still down from Saturday.

If players do want to leave then I say good riddance, most would be leaving for less medals.

Personally moving on Jesus and Laporte would be criminal. Gabby still has an awful lot to offer at City, Laporte is one if the best centre backs in world football.
We should be looking to offload Sterling and Akè in particular.
It wouldn't be criminal to move any player if they are not happy to stay

Laporte has already mentioned his concerns in an interview earlier in the season - so the signs are there that he may want out

If both gabby and laporte are happy, and wish to continue, then they will stay

But as pep said, he and the club will sit down with the players and anyone not wanting to stay will now be moved out

Reading a lot online and here, If we are indeed getting kane+ Grealish if would then make sense to move on Jesus, raz and Laporte. Of course, the club would want enough for these 3 given the finances due to the pandemic
and if kane is injured which he probably will be, who is the back up? Torres?
