Is it totally unlikely that PSG could try to get Pep again? They wanted him as the Tuchel replacement and tried. Could they want him again, and use that to convince Mbappe to stay?
We usually talk about how comfortable he has it here, but what’s really the effect this UCL defeat had on him and internally in the club?
Who else could PSG want if they have to replace Poch?
Conte, Zidane.
One thing about Pep is he is loyal to those who are loyal to him. He knows that going to work for the Qataris would be seen as a personal betrayal by Mansour and Khaldoon

Are you really suggesting pep will have his head turned by PSG?
And here's me thinking you're a poster with valid points usually.

As if pep would want to go, as if khaldoon would let him go.

Peps philosophy is we haven't won it this year, let's try to win it next year. Same as he takes each match game by game.

If they want to replace poch then big fat Sam and Eddie howe are looking for work.

You would know more than me. I just know he’s getting on a bit and apparently lacks pace.

I’m sure we’ll have a great summer.
Yes he is 28 so no spring chicken, I just want Mendy replaced and if Tagliafico is available i'd have a punt for a couple of seasons at the right price as anyone else would be silly money imo. Especially from the PL. I agree though, we should still have a strong summer.

What I am suggesting is that PSG might want to try to get Pep again, not that Pep would go. Sure, it could be Zidane and Conte as well. But they like big names.
Like I said, I don’t know how heavy this UCL defeat feels on him, and what he has heard internally. Could be heavy stuff. I probably would be thinking about it all the time since Saturday

He will have the summer off with his family, watch some of the Euros and be on the phone chatting to a couple players I think. Then back to the CFA for pre-season.

PSG will go for Zidane, appeases the locals and probably think Mbappe will sign on again.

PSG ended up very stupid to lose a one horse league race to Lille.
Fired Tuchel who got them CL final and league title last season, and delivered CL title to Chelsea in 5 months of work.

Now Pochettino wants to join a much weaker squad Tottenham where he was fired from instead of taking on the challenge of building PSg to top side in Europe win their first CL and win series of French title.

Quite embarassing for PSG right now imo.

They could opt for Conte or Zidane imo but reallly hope Mbappe does not sign that new contract. Players must feel shit that their manager does not want to coach them but wants to coach mediocre Spurs again.
