Sorry mate, that might be your opinion, but i don’t think results actually back it upEveryone has different opinions. Yes he had a big say in the success this season he also was one of the big reasons for the poor form at the beginning. especially the axis of Rodri,Gundo,Kevin. This is why i believe pep reverted to the false 9. But if the false 9 isn't something that's going to stay then the thought of that trio makes me nervous.
Gundogan didn’t even play until Mid October as he had Covid & didn’t play in the Spurs or Leicester game which were our 2 early season losses
So from Sept to Jan, we dropped 16 points including 2 losses. Out of those 16 points, when Gundogan started, we dropped 6 points & had no losses, so I’m not sure how you think he was one of the big reasons for our early season poor form?
