He can stay where he is. The circus surrounding him is embarrassing at this stage and the whole charade of his agent and father parading around Europe so publicly has put me right off him. We're bigger than getting involved in this.

The Sun and other red tops inhabit an alternative universe. if his agent and dad want their cut this will be a £200m + investment before his wages and bonuses are included. Every club will announce losses because of covid so where’s the money coming from? And how will clubs swallow this sort of cost and meet FFP. I think this summer window will be a very interesting window. Personally I expect to see some creative player swops with limited money changing hands.
