Obvious bullshit, but I'd be all over a Laporte and Frenkie De Jong swap if the former is pushing for a move.

FDJ would be incredible in our system and would cover both the 6 and 8 - even emergency CB if required.

I imagine he's a player Barca would rather not lose though and I'm not sure whether Frenkie himself would be up for it.

My absolute dream signing for this team. He’d be perfect

Totally agree

70m for Jesus is a good deal, in my opinion, as much as I wouldn't want to get rid of gabby. If spurs are interested, even better. 60m + jesus for kane is an excellent deal

That's part of a story from Football Italia combined with the bollocks from the Daily Star last week. To say that it's come from the MEN or the Telegraph is pure bullshit. Simple Google search will tell you that.

City_Chief is no City_Xtra.

We would still be down a striker if we got rid of gabby.

We haven't played with a striker for most of the season - the option to play with a false 9 when Kane (or whoever we sign) needs resting is still very much going to be there.

Ferran also looks like he could be a decent back up and we have Delap rumoured to be more involved next season - this could be the latters opportunity to step up into a 1st team role and get some minutes. He needs a big name to leave, otherwise he's never going to.

But we won what we won in spite of not playing a striker, not because of it.

The lack of presence up front is a huge reason why we struggled in certain games like the ones against Chelsea.

Teams like that aren't arsed about eleven players passing it around in front of them. They're well organised and need a constant presence in and around the box who will disrupt that shape.
