You failed to mention my other examples! Hazard, VVD
Jorginho would improve our starting 11, he was one of the best players last season and at the Euros, yes we dodged a bullet on Sanchez

Hazard was one of many who we didn`t get.VVD didn`t want to go anywhere else but Liverpool but in the grand scheme of things we`ve done a bit better than most wouldn`t you say.
Shit happens in life especially in football but this continual whinging about City not doing their business early enough for a few of you is seriously like a kid throwing his toys out his pram.
I prefer NOT to get stressed as whatever will be ,will be.

Sancho hasn’t officially signed the rags like to drag a signing for months we don’t do it in public
 
I'm as impatient as anybody, but when you're going for big transfers like Grealish and Kane it's not going to happen overnight. You'd like to think the major groundwork would've been started by now and the finer details will still need sorting. I still think we're looking at several weeks away before our first signing

We did though. Aké was brought in to make sure a squad player is in place before anything. Then came the proper signing in Dias because no one had faith in Stones to be as good again.

The two players we are linked with Kane and Greasy Jack are the major performers at their respective clubs, harldy easy deals to conclude , even IF both players want to join us. They are both under long term contracts, so their clubs are in a strong bargaining position.

And IF we are still in for Little Alf, that is a nightmare of a deal, Riaola and Dortmund , does it get any worse?

Also IF Bernardo wants out, to who? Plenty of clubs would love him, but I would say zero have the funds to acquire him.

Yes we have in the most part, but have been very poor with our forward signings in recent history: Bony, Jovetic, Negredo spring to mind!

Negredo was a brilliant player at a very reasonable price before the injury at West Ham.

Can't really call that a poor signing. Probably wouldn't have won the league that year without him.

Probably the worst thing is that each day you have to wade through pages and pages and pages of the same few posters managing to elicit replies from half the forum because of their nonsense. Everyone should have the same rule - soon as you smell a troll - stick them on ignore and move on. They need oxygen to survive so best thing is to stop giving them it.
 
Would expect something with Kane to happen next week.Tottenham coming out with how they want their business done ins and outs next week.
 
if we sign nobody & use 3/4 kids I will be happy. I think foden & Torres will really step up next season anyway.

top 3 & a cup I will be delighted.

now is not the time to spending the cash the world is in a mad situation. Let Utd & Chelsea spend it as it will come back to haunt them in 2 years when we start to spend.

just going to enjoy city next season with my old man & enjoy a beer & pie at the ground. Time to appreciate our journey. Not even going to use ffs in any post (well I will try) :-)

Looking forward to pre-season. Will be good to see some of the academy players in action, particularly Lavia. Good signs of a few of them getting promoted to first team squad, would be especially great if we utilise some of them during season. Probably calm a few nerves about lack of depth or transfers for a bit.

Now is absolutely the time to spend the cash, time to go for the jugular, it's time to be ruthless, more than ever

I like the sentiment about spending it with family though
