A club of the stature of Barca should not have to pay insane salaries to attract players, a simply crazy and unsustainable situation.

As soon as a player wants to leave, several clubs will put in bids for him.

At that point the club will decide which offer(s) they will accept if the valuation fee is met, and then speak to the player. I don't think the Haaland transfer is as black and white as people are making out.

This is the most relaxed I've ever been about a transfer window. Great to be linked with Haaland, Felix, Grealish et al but we can be secure in the knowledge that whatever happens, even a Rodwell, Sinclair type scenario, in the long term, we're the best run club in the world.
