Yeah that sounds more likely in which case he still has two more seasons left after this one. It'll be interesting to see how we deal with it going forward, I'm guessing it'll be a loan with us paying at least half of his wages. Such a shame it hasn't worked out for him here mainly due to injuries. I was so excited when we signed him and for those first couple of months before he got injured I thought we finally had a world class attacking left-back.
Either a loan or PSG might take him due to his passport. Either way if we get a good chunk of his wages off the books and free up his squad space without upsetting the dressing room we're doing well at this stage. Hope it works out for him whatever happens.

Mate it is literally in the tweet you've quoted. And you've even spelt it right in your question. Not sure what game you're playing here but it'll take more than a stupid spelling test to get yourself as the new host of the 93:20 quiz. Your question isn't even multiple choice

That quiz is fixed. You heard it here first.

Haaland is one of the most obvious known target's we've gone for in a while. So i would ignore any claims by anyone that he doesn't fit the system etc. Literally every source says he is our main target. The question is, will we get him?

They aren't informed stories - they are arse-covering fluff pieces at best, covering bases while Messi keeps quiet.

Just to respond to a couple of your concerns you have shared.

Neither Mbappe or Haaland have any desire to come to City now or in the future, they have made it clear.

Felix also didn't want to know when we expressed an interest last season.

Another thing all three of those players have in common is they wouldn't even move the commercial needle much for City off the field.

And certainly nobody moves it like Messi would.

He knows what he must now do. If he does it, we will be seeing him in a City shirt very soon.

Posted in August last year. What’s changed?

Yeah, and the reasoning that “we don’t go big or aggressive on players so won’t go for him” is also bullshit.

We haven’t gone big or aggressive on players recently because we haven’t had to. We had a spine of Kompany, Toure, Silva and Aguero.

We seem to have finally replaced Kompany with Dias. £60m.

We seem to have Rodri in for Touré. £50m.

We already have Foden in for Silva. Money saved.

We’ve had 10 years to save for an Aguero replacement, knowing that to replace a 30+ goal a season striker you will need to spend.

We don’t usually go aggressive simply because we haven’t had to. There are not many players who could replace Aguero, Haaland is one of them. We’ll be aggressive as we need to get our man.

I don't care if we don't get him as long as I know the club tried their hardest for him. He's hot property, so it's understandable.

Regardless of the debate on rascal’s info, I have to say I find it astonishing that anyone could believe we wouldn’t target a striker when we appear to be releasing Serg. Guscruz doesn’t appear to have quite got used to how to post on bluemoon as yet without being obtuse, but the points he raises are spot on, imo. Yes, we may well be looking good with the false 9, but to think we would approach a new season with just the one forward in Jesus, who is hardly prolific, is preposterous.

If FFP is getting scrapped, I think we'll go all out. Our owners aren't daft, his potential, marketability and his impact on the squad would be more than worth it, especially if they want to sell more of CFG to investors like Silver Lake, CITIC or China Media etc. We've built the best squad in the world, I think they'd splash a little for the jewel in the crown.

Pep told me not to tell anyone but i have to break our pinky promise, we are not interested in Haaland or any striker. Next season we are playing with false no 1 with eddie as false no9 and walker as false no 1.

We're in the happy position that we don't need FFP to be scrapped to get Haaland.
