I wonder if his old pal Leo has got an announcement of his own to make. That really would blow bluemoon apart.
Don't know about that, Aguero going is hardly a surprise at this point, sad as it is given the circumstances. If Messi doesn't come here and we end up with say, Haaland, Mendes & Grealish instead, you certainly won't see me complaining. Which sounds mental but nonetheless.

We've been robbed of him the last 16 months or so, very sad the chapter is coming to an end, but what a fucking story he has written.

Yeah, and pep all but said this in his comments recently, it’s totally gutting still but the right call. I think we discussed this previously as tears, goodbye but hello world as we move forward and on with a new focal point.

Excuse my ignorance on the matter as ever Tolmie but I find it very strange to announce this now..!?

Does it not put Dortmund in a stronger position knowing we’re definitely losing Kun? In the past I think has weakened our bargaining power when the selling club know we are desperate.

I know it was inevitable anyway but seems like we’ve shown our hand a little bit. Hope it wasn’t forced as Aguero has decided he’s going somewhere and that club may announce it.

It's not ignorance mate, more than valid to question the timing of it now.

Perhaps it feeds in to our business elsewhere, but shall reserve judgment until Sergio speaks.

Khaldoon has spoken and now it will interesting to see if everyone was on the same page.

Sergio probably needed clarity to inform other clubs.

One thing is certain, the speculation on Haaland will be ramped to the max ahead of next week.

I suspect Messi and Aguero will be playing together at Barca next season, and that's why City are going after Grealish this international break as @BillyShears said yesterday.

How though? they are near bankruptcy theyd have to sell a couple of high wage players for Aguero and Messi's wages

I think you're right about Grealish. In terms of our striker search I also think it means Haaland is a done deal. There's no chance that City would leave something like this to chance.
