It always is to be fair.

Wasn't that long ago he declared Lopes and Denayer were definitely going to be first team players the next season and neither made it through the preseason tour before being sold/loaned.

Things don't always go to plan.

I think it's always good to preach caution.

But I also think he's by some distance the best chairman in world football. :)

Daniel Levy has told Harry Kane he's not for sale at any price as Antonio Conte has requested he stay. The player has agreed as Levy said "I won't back down". ;)

Khaldoon operates on a level far removed from any other football club chairman. In one of his many other roles he was in negotiation with Liz Truss recently sorting out a free trade agreement between the UK & the UAE.

Most other chairmen are on the level of Peter Swales when measured against him.

That’s harsh on Swales, at least he loved the club and didn’t see it as an annual dividend :)
