Why should we dignify every piece of groundless nonsense and absolute fantasy with a denial?
Barcelona are close to bankruptcy. They are not paying a transfer fee for anybody
 
Lets assume that we are in discussions with Barca for a player or two, seems Laporte is the main one. And lets also assume they are pretty much skint it would suggest a player exchange is the only possible option. But whi would we be seriously interested in from Barca who could be an improvement on our current squad? DeJong?

Not that i want him to leave but this is what we need, get a firm bid in and it strengthens our position if Spurs want him in exchange for Kane.
 
I’d much rather Gundogan be the one who leaves to get Grealish in the door than Bernardo. Granted he’s had an unbelievable season, but he’s 30 now and 2 years left on his deal. He’s also much less versatile. At the intensity and speed of the PL, Gundogan can only be played as an 8. I think in Spain or Germany he could be utilised in defensive midfield but not here. Grealish and Bernardo can both play centrally or wide, with some even thinking Grealish can be coached in to the 6 role. I don’t actively want Gundogan to leave, but if someone had to from our attacking positions to get Grealish in, he’d be my choice

I'd honestly take Clement Lengent. Before someone says he's shit so was Stones last year supposedly. A lot of posters weren't sold on Dias as well. Lengent was great at Sevilla. He's not totally to blame at Barca and I think Pep could make him better. He's good in the air and has a good left foot. I think he'd be a decent replacement for Laporte if you can swap and get some cash back.

Doesn't surprise me. After West brom beat the rags in 2018 and we won the title I wandered down to the ground. He was there and I was chatting with him and asked if it was just aguero he had a good relationship with. He said no, "he's friends with 4 or 5 of the Spanish speaking players" and they quite happily call him.
 
Maybe another option lol

We've never had a squad as good as this, so it's something we're going to see more.
