I understand that Grealish is more exciting and his numbers look great.

But I think Bernado is better as a number 8 in our system. The guy never stops running and never gives the ball away.

He’s almost the perfect Pep midfielder.

Grealish is overrated and hyped up beyond belief...a good player but that is about it

Yes, I think he's better than Berna. He's almost as creative as KDB, and he's playing in a weaker team, but those are facts. But I'm not arguing with you, there are people like you who have an almost cult-like blindness to something while completely ignoring the facts, which can be damaging.

I think we just don't know but also that the Euros have certainly slowed transfer dealings down to a virtual stop so there's little or no information coming out at the moment - and City are well known for not conducting business in the press as it is.

Good point. Clement llenglet is their most expensive defensive signing in absolute terms. Cost just over half that figure, even if he has a fantastic Euros, gets MOTM performances and Spain go home as winners, I can't see them paying that much for him.

They'd want him to contribute at the other end of the pitch too (Ronald Koeman's playing days).

Past season, he was definitely asked to do a role which doesn't involve being creative. He sacrificed his game for the team and did so without any fuss. I am convinced we wouldn't be champions without him doing it.

I for one would be very sad if he leaves.

Wow i started to read your post ad thought it was reasonable at first....but then unfortunately realised it wasnt....I can accept a difference of opinon..Mine is that Grealish isnt as good as Beranrdo Silva....we will have to leave it there

Ha....so you think that makes it wrong...its called a difference of opinon...I happen to think that Bernardo Silva who has won multiple titles/awards etc is a better player that Jack Grealish....you clearly think otherwise....I was onyl posting in opposition to the point that someone made that one season worth of stats show that Grealish is better...I say that doesnt show he is better overall
For the record an as Ive said before I think Grealish is a good player - nothing more however.

No i am suggesting that multiple title winning goals and triumphs suggest that Aguero is better than Kane....it was the OP that suggested that one season stats meant that it was a step up.....

Do you actually believe that Harry Kane is a better centre forward than Sergio Aguero if both are fit...even now. Id argue that he isnt and that Kun is still the better forward all around. ts easy to get blinded by stats but just look at how they play.

Look at who they score against if you want to look at stats -(which Ive posted before - Kanes record against the top 6 teams pails in comparrison nest to Agueros (infact Messi from a different league altogether has scored more against the top 6 than Kane) - and i had posted the caveat that I cannot find a goals to game ration for that comparrison however. But at least these stats are spread out over a longer period of time to make them more realistic thatn one seasons worth.

it shows that Kane does very well against the midtable and bottom of the table teams but when it comes to the top 6 (baring Leicester and Arsenal) he doesnt do very well.....and its here is where it will really count.
 
does anyone have stats on how much bernardo actually "runs"? because it feels to me like that's mostly something that was true in 18/19 but I can't really remember him doing stuff like THAT the past 2 years.

He’s got no end product, grealish will be the Dave silva replacement we thought Bernardo was befor he turned into a James Milner

The number of trophies has absolutely nothing to do with individual performance though. That's why you're getting pilloried by everyone. If you'd said "let's look at both players' performances over the last x seasons," then fine. But just posting a picture of every pot Agüero has won in his career to counteract the assertion that Kane is coming off a much better season than Kun is just weird. It doesn't make any sense.
