I wouldn't mind Saul, don't know much about Llorente to be fair.

I was just thinking that if striker prices are prohibitive this summer then doing some kind of Bernado/Felix deal might be a go-er. After all there was some interest in Felix a couple of seasons ago from our side IIRC?

The problem with Saul is that he's a great player who's had a down 18 months (partly from being forced to play out of position).

Atletico would still value him as a 60-70m player based on his previous heights, but to a buyer that last 18 months is going to drop his value.

Could be a 20-30m gap in valuations between Atletico and any club they want to sell or swap him to which is hard to get past.

I wouldn't either. Don't think we can rely on Ake's fitness and Garcia is gone leaving us very little cover if Stones gets injured.

I like Llorente.

Big fan of Llorente as well. He can play anywhere in midfield and has a real eye for goal. 12 league goals this season for Atletico despite being played all over the place.
