It’s just a guess, players are on holiday I doubt transfers are at the forefront of their minds right now.
no one speaks on Pep's behalf on transfers or anyone else involved at the club.

I have no problem with this at all...may well have the next Harry Kane on our hands in young Liam. We've obviously proven that we can win without an out and out striker, if we can continue to do that and have Delap progress there really is no reason to splurge on Kane right now.
Pep wants Kane as badly as he wanted Koulibaly or Jorginho in previous windows, doesn't mean it works out
Not like we needed an out and out striker last year anyway, Felix would be a great option, that's all.
When there were multiple reports of us after Haaland. The guy who is close to pep said it’s Kane who we are after.

He needs a new mate or he is using his mate, we don't operate like that, IE the signing of Dias , came from nowhere.
Doubt that would be a big hurdle tbf, medical can still be cleared and he can complete his rehab. We will see, they will have to sell him sooner because he will become 4th in pecking order once Griezmann joins. It'll be him, Suarez, Correa and then Felix, maybe another cheap 9 that they'll buy.

Yes that’s true. But this could be Peps last contract with us I’m sure the club will do everything to get Kane.
i watch a lot of atletico Felix is a hot and cold player, sometimes amazing , sometimes shit. Can create a chance then fuck it up the next time. He’s got youth on his side but does not look like the player they payed big money for. the question with Felix is with the 2 years on pep deal does he want a young project?

I don’t think we would seriously consider replacing the greatest PL striker of all time with a hyped youngster who has failed to deliver and has a worse than one goal in four games record over the last two seasons
Im just saying he was only one to say about Kane when nearly every journalist was saying Haaland. Most of itk people on here have said that Kane is who Pep wants.
We will see, I still live in hope Kane is a bit of a diversion tactic.
Its why they have gone back to get Griezmann. It’s why they were booing him on the pitch. Just doesn’t seem to jell in the Simone system
Not sure where you're getting this young project bit from, majority of our squad is young. If anything, I'd say there's been a positive indication recently with news of certain academy players being part of first team squad. You could argue Lavia is a young project, or Cole Palmer. Felix is 22 soon, not as young, he's been mishandled and misused in a team that is extremely defensive and one dimensional, Simeone isn't someone who helps young strikers become elite, but I think with our system, Pep will undoubtedly help him and make him great.
In reality, we are never replacing Aguero or finding a striker who instantly guarantees us 20+ goals a season. Especially with the state of market, and obviously, Aguero was one of a kind. It's more about suiting our needs and getting a player who would be good for us. It's not always a numbers game
If you sign B- Players, You get B- Results.
IF he came it would not be as a striker, he is more false 9, 10 position, even out wide, a good alternative to Grealish for me
