Annoyed at how today played out tbh but an actual left back and any kind of striker before close of the window will more than make up for it

Let Messi go twice, pursue an unavailable player all summer on the word of a player so dumb he signed a long term contract with spurs in his prime. Get utterly played by Ronaldo, and ultimately sign nobody and say it was the plan all along

We've had three months to get something done.

like i said in an earlier post, top strikers are hard to come across and it was always known this would be difficult. am i annoyed we spent so much time pursuing kane? of course. but it is what it is. not everything is going to work in our favour, just a fact of life.

Stil think we have the best owners in the world and you cannot argue with our success over the last decade but think we’ve dropped a bollock here, i’ve always hated Ronaldo but can put that aside if it benefits our club, could see no down side to this deal if i’m honest, sportingly he still has it and probably would have bagged us 20 plus goals a season, commercialy it would have been a goldmine and given us worldwide exposure, he’s a model pro apparently so the younger players could have learned a thing or two about hard work and professionalism and the bonus was it would have pissed off rag vermin big style, anyway not happening we move on, we’ll be fine bit think we missed a trick.

Press have been briefed that we are happy to go with what we have, wouldnt expect anything in the last few days

would you have expected us to be linked to ronaldo two days ago? and for him to be signed back as a united player today? i think it’s highly doubtful you would’ve guessed that. would rather be optimistic than doom and gloom.

We could have had Messi but we decided to develop a tunnel vision pursuit of Harry Kane with no evidence that we could definitely get it done. The window has been stunningly incompetent. We will not hear the end of it. You all know this deep down.

How do you know we could have had Messi?

He had that Paris move locked down within 2 days. He knew and he was always going to choose them.
