He's not been able to break into the team at Porto. He's still young though so I rate West Ham's chances of getting an option to buy as below 1%.

But do you think any of City's youngster is better than him ?

I haven't seen him enough to judge but he was called the next Messi and Messi had already become a regular for Barca by the same age.

There was a rumour last month that Iturbe could join Genoa on a permanent deal. If Genoa and West Ham are the clubs after him then something may have gone wrong in Iturbe's development, ala Gai Assulin.
