He has preformed in patches this season, but been dropped for André Gomes who has been woeful. I think the manager Lucho want to play André Gomes because he bought him for alot of money in the summer. And if Gomes plays usually it's Rakitic and not Iniesta who is being dropped.

Yeah, pretty much this. They're trying to force Gomes in the side when Rakitic is miles better. Alcacer has also looked unbelievably dreadful for them.
