I flew on one from Denver to Munich with Lufthansa, as you say a very pleasant plane to fly on
 
There seems an unusual amount of E-3A sentinels flying over Europe this morning, Bulgaria/Turkey, Romania, Germany, UK border region. Don't think I've ever seen 4 at once, also an Italian AEW just north of Sicilly doing strange circuits, and the Forte drone off Crimea.

That seems a lot of surveilance going on.

The XLR is for "extra long range", the livery (paint job) is special as they are going to use it from London to New Dehli and New York to Rome, so it took off from Tolouse at 0707 this morning, and is returning there after a longer than 10 hour flight non stop round Europe and the North Sea.
 
The airliners live mid week show is back on weds evenings.

It finished before the West Ham game, so thats my evening sorted.
