J-ROD

J-Rod? don't they use them to unblock drains?

High hopes for Jack, would love it if he could become the powerful English midfielder we all wanted Johno to become.

I agree about him being a first teamer. He had energy and we need that. My team would him in it before 1 of Silva, Tevez or Aguero ...

...................Hart
Richards Kompany Lescott Clichy

Aguero .. Yaya .. Rodwell ..Tevez
..................Falcoa

No Silva?

Does "M" stand for maniac?

No on the J-Rod nickname. I think Rodders is probably the best so far.

I really do like the look of him. I think he'll be a great signing if he can stay healthy. I don't put to much on the misses today. He hasn't played much football at all this season (or last) so I think he'll find his scoring boots. Hopefully that will be next season if he gets a good run in the team.

I could see our regular premier league starting XI looking like this next season if a couple of the heavily rumored transfers happen:

4-3-3

...............Hart
Zaba....Kompany....Nasty...Clichy
.....Rodwell...Fernandinho...........
.............Yaya........................
..Silva................Aguero.........
............Cavani.................

With rotations of Barry/Garcia for Rodders and Fernandihno and Tevez/Striker to be named later rotating with Aguero and Cavani.

Wow.I mean fucking wow. The lad is OK but not good enough for a starting place at city. When he was names motm I burst out laughing. Tevez must have thought wtf.

J-to-the-R-O-D reeee-eewwww y'knowhamsayin'?

You counting his y'knowhamsayins? Checking his y'knowhamcentses?

He is going to be outstanding in the future.....assuming he can stay fit for more than 5 minutes.

I think with a run of games he could win a place in the team. He gets himself into great positions, just needs to work on his finishing a bit and he could add plenty of goals from midfield. His passings decent and will get better the more he plays with the likes of Yaya and Silva.

He needs to calm down a bit with his tackling though, if he'd connected with the one he missed in the first half on the touchline the guy would have been hospitalised.

I'm with the OP on this on almost every single point(maybe not the nickname...), although I seem to be in the minority. At least there's no totally negative BS directed at him for a change, if he can keep his fitness up(no reason why not, Giggs and Gerrard both managed it) then he can be become awesome for us. He could make Yaya worry for his place in the very near future(seriously).
