Jack Grealish | Set to join Everton on season-long loan

He was listing those left behind injured, Jack isn't in that category, unfortunately he is just being ostracised as we want rid and don't deem that we have to treat him in a professional way any longer. We're being cunts with him and forcing him out not behaviour I like to see from us to be honest.
He is not being ostracised. If he was he wouldn't have been training with the rest of the squad.

He's had more than enough time to be "great" for us. He hasn't managed it. He wasn't great during the treble Season either. He had a good 3 months. Let's not rewrite history.
Without some of his performances the treble wouldn’t have been possible. He was integral in big games - sometimes big moments and sometimes just so structured it helped.

You cannot fault him for that season what so ever.

You can for his other couple of years here.

It’s a shame but I feel like fans have always been able to connect with Jack. He’s clearly a great bloke and down to earth. In an industry filled with poison and money it’s nice to have characters like this from time to time. A shame it hasn’t worked out but that’s football at the very highest level.

I think he will move in the last hour of the transfer market.

Everton will want City to keep paying him until the last seconds.

And potential other teams with different packages at the tables. For instance Jack may prefer Everton but because someone else will pay 50k more we are trying to squeeze it out of them.

You people talk as if he is some Messi or Ronaldo who can change course or match by mere presence or he or Kevin de bruyne who can run that show and keep on pinging quality passes
He is neither
I am not Grealish's biggest fan but he will certainly improve Everton. You saying he isn't an improvement on James Garner, Dwight McNeil or Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall?

This guy is reliable for City stuff isnt he? Positive noises from our ITK's in a deal getting close. This would be a huge deal for us if wages were right but obviously a risk we are willing to take. I think he would be a great signing as long as he still has the hunger. Hopefully the prospect of a WC next sumner helps with that.

So just the £2.5m in wages we cover for him and not forgetting the £16.5m amortisation cost of his original purchase cost for next season - so £19m for him to play for Everton before being returned next summer.

Nice guy but the money wasted on him and Phillips where both will see out their contracts is ridiculous.

Nah never heard of him. Sick of these KFAs

But yeah expect this to be done quickly now

According to an Everton itk think he goes under the name The Bobble Deal done as of 11-17 am today
That must be the most specific ITK claim I've ever seen on here ;)

Hope it's true by the way for Jack's sake, I only wish him well. At least we'll have less of the absolute bollocks that gets posted on here. Ostracised!!! FFS.

Had the misfortune of straying onto Talkshite earlier - some "highlights" of the two numnuts on the air discussing Jack Grealish

"He needs a factory reset, as Peps all but ruined him. We know Pep doesn't handle flair players" - Err Lionel Messi anyone?

"Jack needs a move as he's 29 and next year may be his last chance to play at a World Cup!" - he played and scored in a World Cup 4 years ago whilst a City player but don't let that get in the way

"Jacks such a popular player/lad up and down the country, people just want him to be happy" - err, he's been booed up and down the country whenever he touches the ball this past 4 years

I gave up after 5 mins and switched over to 5 Live as listening to them crawl up Liverpool & Uniteds backsides actually wasn't as painful as Talkshite

Ffs, Grealish does not have a fucking problem with booze, can we stop this shit.
We will never really find out the truth about what went wrong except the performances and injuries. The decline is sad to see, I thought he would have been a key figure in the side by now.
