I know he has divided opinion, I’ve been on both sides of the fence myself but surely this now cements the opinion that he has been a poor signing?

29 years old (should be in his prime), bought for £100m just 4 years ago, poor G/A return over the 4 years and then ends up at Everton on loan.

We will always have that treble season (and some will say that cancels out all the negatives) but it’s a sorry state of affairs for our record signing.

I wish him all the best at Everton but this is not how it was supposed to go.

About his level tbh. I assume all the grealish fan boys will be lumping on Everton now getting top 5? After all grealish wins games by himself.

A crap signing was never city level. Good riddance.

I like Jack. The form he showed during the treble season demonstrated he has/had the talent to be good enough for City but like a number of players before him, he just lacked the determination and professionalism between the ears.

Shame really but 'footballer wastes talent' is hardly a unique story.

I’d go for he’s been a worthwhile signing but massively overpriced. His best form was during the most important time in the clubs history winning the treble, so - no offence intended as everyone is right in whatever opinion they believe - i don’t agree with him being a ’poor’ signing. In fact that 6 months where he was instrumental in us winning the lot, was worth more money than you can mention.

14 goals and 15 assists in 4 years, injuries and getting smashed in his free time hasn’t put him in Pep’s good books.
Like him as a bloke and thought he was a great signing at the time but it’s not worked out for both parties.
Saying that he has a treble to his name and 3 premier league titles.
Not many can say that.

That’s fair. I did say some would forgive everything else for his performances in the 2nd half of the treble season.

You win some, you lose some. We move on and wish him all the best as I'm sure he will do with us.
