Foden was successful with 43 out of 71 dribble attempts last season. 60.6% of them
Grealish was successful with 61 out of 93 attempted dribbles, 65.6%
So there isn’t much in it in terms of pure effectiveness at dribbling.
In terms of dribbling style, well that’s subjective but yes I prefer the way Foden glides when he’s in full flow.
Foden's ceiling is undoubtedly higher. He does things others just couldn't even imagine. That flick control against Iceland for England. It's his sharp footballing brain that helps as well as his natural ability and he is such a good striker of the ball as well.
Jack is very good but probably not as good at finishing and at the moment slightly wiser/more experienced in terms of game management and control.
Having both in the same side. Well that would be incredible. They're not in competition for me. For now at least I would have Foden wide left and Grealish more central.
