Jack Grealish

This is the weird thing about Villa. I have never had a problem with the club itself, and that's the same to this day.

But the fans...
Me neither, in fact always had a bit of a soft spot for them, loved them winning the European cup when I was a kid, BUT, I’ve realised, I’ve never met an actual Villa fan in person in my life.

His stats back him up to being the second best creative midfielder in the league. The only put off for me his is diving, but his football ability is up there with the best. Put it this way, we’re adding one of the best midfielders and probably the best striker in the league to the best team in the league. You always need to improve to maintain dominance, we seem to be doing exactly that. Signing Grealish is also good squad planning. How long are Gundogan’s legs going to last for, same goes for Kev. Bernardo is rumoured to be leaving to.
Can you show me these stats please.

The headline in the Daily United.

Do you think the Daily United would have used the same headline if United and Solskjaer had made a £100mill bid for Grealish?

The club on this transfer thread are damned if they do or damned if they don’t... bloody hell just get behind the club they’ve not let a single one of us down so far . Get a grip and bloody enjoy it.
I doubt they'll be damned if they do. Not sure anyone is really questioning Grealish's ability, it's the price tag. However only time will tell if he's worth it.

However, if Grealish signs a new contract with Villa our board will get slaughtered, both by the fans and by the media. Champions can't attract the best young talent in England, from a small, mid table club (that's for the lurking Brummies) after offering £100m and a bucket load of money to the player.

Yup, they'll get absolutely pummelled.

Yeah the David silva we grew to love but the David silva who first arrived compared to jack are on the same level .
No one was knowing Dave would go on to be a all time great.
Do you think Grealish is going to suddenly develop at the age of 25 to become a player as good as Silva? Thats a pretty tall order and unlikely i would say.

I've said it before, but this point - put the statistically second most creative midfielder with the first, where each have a unique but complimentary style - is the only thing worth thinking about at the end of the day. People can overcomplicate otherwise simple things.
