You know who genuinely deserves criticism? All those Villa 'ITKs' who've been spending months denying everything and lying about Grealish signing a new deal. They've really fanned the flames with this one.

In fairness who knows who said what to whom, Villa themselves might have thought that. Put yourself in Grealish's place if the deal had fallen through for some reason, wouldn't Villa offering you a new contract be a good thing?
