Spot on,some just cant be objective and/or impartial.Evans would have done a very decent job for us,he is/was far better than Otamendi.

I agree that Evans would have done fine for us, but I am not going to say he was far better than Otamendi. I don't think that's true at all.

Has Ray ever given a reason to not liking Grealish? I accept some subjectivity in football opinions but I would love to see if you can bring up any stat that backs up your dislike of him. Or does it stop at arguments such as his “rolling” and “would stop being good if he leaves Villa”?All his stats are above average

His passing,vision,timing,positioning and reading of the game was/is much better.Agree to disagree though as i don't want to derail.

Villa play a different playing style to us for starters and wouldn't solve us wasting chances.

I get the potential of Grealish playing pepball. I’d move Mahrez on for him if we could get circa £50m for Mahrez.

Shin splints are a bit of a worry though. Hopefully insoles can correct his running style to minimise how often he gets them.

He doesn't have the greatest of touches either. Wouldn't be handy in tighter games or against sides who shut up shop. If we were going down that route Zaha (although not that great either or isn't getting any younger) would be better.
