how about having square pegs in square holes ? having the right players in the team and players in their roles (striker)
love pep to death but sometimes over thinks it and fits players into a role for cover ? have we had a proper left back at the club under pep ? mendy can not be used as he is always injured so cover again. last season with injuries to aguero and jesus meant a false 9 playing most of the season

lets get a balance squad with 2 players for each role
city must sign 2 strikers in the summer one a world class player then the next best available
then a 2 left back has to be added because of injuries that can happen for our left backs

I’d say he’s deceptively quick, much like Foden.
Are you joking??

Foden is genuinely quick. Grealish barely breaks past walking speed. Even when he sprints he's slower than Rodri.
Not even remotely comparable.

Of course his quick thinking and close ball control mean he doesn't need to rely on pace.

Let’s not get carried away now :)

We have not done too bad playing the round pegs in square holes domestically anyway

Agree though we should be looking at LB and CF but Pep loves his midfielders he even plays one LB and one as false 9

Villa fans on Villatalk reckon that waving dud pound notes around when we signed Gareth Barry shook us to the core.
Well lads and lasses, did it shake you to the core ?
What I always found odd, was that Barry was only offered £5,000 a week more by us, that was from Barry himself, John Gregory claimed if he wasn't prepared to stay at Villa for £80,000 a week, then he can go.

When we were taken over, I actually found Villa fans and Everton fans to be by far the most bitter, rags, arse, dippers were just too arrogant at the time to bother being as they didn't think we'd be a threat, how did that one work out for you girls haha ;-).

Have you considered that we have been so successful because of the fact that Pep doesn't stick to rigid, traditional positions?

Slower than Rodri hahahahhaahahahah

Don't think he's as quick as Foden but certainly as quick as Bernardo who he's apparently replacing.

Interesting point is that of the 4 primary wing players, Foden, Bernardo and Mahrez are left footed. Grealish is right footed which would balance us to 2 of each.

I have absolutely nothing against Bernardo at all, he has been good for us, but Grealish is better, he is more of a threat, more dangerous player all round.
There’s no threat when you hog the ball in your half and run towards your goalie and fall down as if sniper hit your vagina .
Im sorry to hear that you were on stevie wonder mode when bernie was playing .
