Agreed. This opinion always baffles me - if you watch interviews of him then you’ll see he comes across as a nice bloke who just loves football.

Admittedly he’s done some pretty moronic things - especially during lockdown - but so did Kyle Walker.

People not wanting him based on footballing ability is moronic. Might be a bit of a tit off the pitch, does that matter if he performs? Walker has an extremely sketchy off the field image. Wouldn’t want him gone, I base an opinion on how they play football. Same people who don’t want him probably still lord Balotelli as some sort of maverick genius. Grealish is class and well worth it. Our own golden boy got caught with his pants down, cheating on his missus, is he a wanker too?

we did, but accountancy wise in football ,its a big profit,and really that's all you need to think about,its like buying a car for £4,300, keeping it for 5 years, realising that the cheap car you bought was better than the cost, getting great value out of it ,then selling it for £6,000.

BBC did an interview with him before the last game and he came across as a really nice, down to earth kid.

Incredibly close with his family, had a brother who died very young and one of his sisters is disabled and he spends most of his time with her and his other siblings.

People have to remember he's in a goldfish bowl in Birmingham, he's the biggest thing in the entire city and everyone wants a piece of him. That can lead to some bad decisions trying to get away or have a normal time without it getting plastered all over the papers.

I'm sure the club think he'll have a much lower profile up here when he's just another player among dozens.

I’m really not in favour of us signing Grealish but looks like it’s happening, doesn’t it.

He’s undoubtedly got ability but he’s also clearly a massive bell end, and a mard arse diving one at that.

Hopefully Pep can coach that out of him if he does sign.

Grealish's 'alleged' drink driving and history of speeding etc is a lot worse than Kyle Walker shagging about to be fair. An unfair comparison. I'm sure Grealish is a nice and amicable person to chat to, but he's also taken some truly awful decisions that could have easily killed someone. He really, and quickly, needs to mature. Not really sure what any of us gain from playing this down just because he could be putting on a blue shirt soon.

His misdemeanours should not be played down,he has been a dickhead and i'd suggest only fortune prevented a tragedy.
However,recent history,and reports about his character,do support the theory that his immaturity is hopefully behind him and he is developing into a very good leader on and off the pitch.

I'm very confident our club are happy that is the case.
