If you want to take a moral stand against footballers who drink drive that's fine, but between Tevez, Nasri, Micah, Michael Johnson, Yaya & Mendy off the top of my head we've had more players banned from driving than most (and those are just the ones who got caught). It's reprehensible but it's clearly not something that's going to stop the club signing someone and I doubt it's stopped you supporting them in the past.

The second sentence stood well, but that first statement was a scrape to far.

It's very close to the same thing. Walker risked other people's health and maybe their lives because he was unable to control his impulses. The same as Grealish. I'm not saying Grealish is an angel - because he clearly is not - but to diminish Walker's irresponsibility because he's a City player is just plain daft.

Because who in a million years would have ever been arsed about Kyle Walker shagging if the world hadn't suddenly decided to outlaw sex? It was stupid, yes, but just some dumb primal instinct from a youngish footballer living on his own, shagging youngish women. Selfish, defo, but if it literally happened a month earlier no one would have been arsed. I totally get why so many were disappointed, myself included, but drink driving has been illegal for all of my life for a reason. It's clearly worse as it can directly destroy entire families. Yes, covid can too, im aware. Walker's act was a stupid one, badly timed, that if it happened in two months, presuming restrictions are lifted, no one could care about. Anyway, im sure theyre both dickheads tbh. I just can't bide by the idea that drink driving isn't worse than a lockdown shag.

Because he ran away, probably. I'm not interested whats worse between Walker or Grealish both are bad. I'm only interested in whether they have learnt from their mistakes going forward.

Thing is, I'm not saying that personally. Go for it. Sign him! I'm aware most footballers are probably dickheads so I can't get uppity about all that. Curse of the millionaire, do what you want lifestyle etc... my point was it's not unfair of anyone to think Grealish is a dick. Cos I mean... he quite literally has the rap sheet.

For me buying sex is a worse crime then speeding and driving intoxicated. He may be a bad character, but those incidents doesn’t show it for me.

Mate it's natural for consenting adults to get down. Whereas driving drunk has got to go against every natural instinct there is as a decent caring person.

Really? Buying sex is grimy as fuck, but speeding and driving intoxicated could literally destroy, directly some entire family. And yes, I know you can then talk about trafficking and all that and the moralities of it, but this is a direct, devastating consequence if it happens with unquestionable links.

Really, and it’s a totally subjective opinion. I know buying sex is not the worst thing you can do, but neither is drink driving. Maybe it’s a cultural thing.
