What reports suggest his immaturity is behind him? Genuine question in case of missed something. It was literally only a year ago.

I used the word 'hopfully' i didnt state fact.However team mates,and relevant pundits,have talked about him in glowing terms and lets face it...when you're 24/25 yrs old,12 months is a very long time,and much can change in both your circumstances and approach to life - i made that very decision at a similar age.

Once again,i'm sure our club have done their homework too.

Full disclosure, I once threw a Turkish Delight bar at United fans and saw it hit someone in the face in the Kippax pen stood next to us.

Grealish's 'alleged' drink driving and history of speeding etc is a lot worse than Kyle Walker shagging about to be fair. An unfair comparison. I'm sure Grealish is a nice and amicable person to chat to, but he's also taken some truly awful decisions that could have easily killed someone. He really, and quickly, needs to mature. Not really sure what any of us gain from playing this down just because he could be putting on a blue shirt soon.

I’m not playing down what he’s done - if I was then I wouldn’t have mentioned his past antics in my post.

The point I was trying to get across was more than some fans seem to think that we only have angels in the squad and sign players who match that.

Plus to call the guy a ‘bellend’ is lazy IMO. It’s the popular opinion to have about the guy rather than an educated one.
