Jack Grealish

Yes, same peas in a pod.

Grealish is a great talent, an exciting player but he spends far too much time on his arse and a lot of it self inflicted.

He reminds me of Mick Channon back in the day, a very talented player who could or would not stay on his feet.
All about opinions, but to suggest Grealish cheats the same as rat face staggers me

Grealish is apparently the most fouled player in the league since they started collecting statistics. He draws the majority of those fouls because he has an incredible ability to take the ball extremely close to the defender; he can then shift his weight either way to unbalance his opponent, so in that sense, he’s extremely similar to Mahrez, only playing on the left. However, when Grealish shifts the defender he tends to create more space between himself and his opponent than Mahrez, and that allows him either to cross unopposed or drive into the space he has created. It is at that point when he often draws the foul, either because the defender takes him down or Grealish is quick enough to determine that he’ll gain more of an advantage from the free kick than he would from staying on his feet: footballing intelligence. Another attribute he has is that he has incredibly powerful legs and a fairly short running gait. So, in that regard, he’s probably more like Aguero in that he can use his centre of gravity and drive to burst through defences.

Of course, these are only footballing positives and have to be placed on the scales against the weight of his seemingly endless social negatives: hair band, hairstyle, punchable face, histrionics, driving offences, and sexual peccadilloes.

Totally disagree, it's in his game, a lot of players do it, part of the game I hate.

Last night Pogba and Rat face did it the whole game, players like Grealish with good ability don't have to and don't need to constantly go to ground like they have been shot, I lose all respect for players like that.

Cancelo does it for us, Rodri to, Fern dives and gets free kicks but at vital times when we are under threat, big difference to rolling about on the floor screaming for your mum.
This LITERALLY makes no sense.

Diving - bad when players from other clubs do it.

Acceptable - when our players do it.

FFS.

Fair enough we just have to respectfully disagree on this one.

Read again.

Tactical fouls when we are in trouble I have no issue with, players throwing themselves to the ground screaming in pain is pathetic.

Players falling to the deck looking at an opposition player , again, I have a problem with.

After the Foden pen incident I can't really blame any player for exaggerating contact. The refs are simply too dreadful to spot a legitimate foul otherwise. Carry on, Jack.
Same last night. Many criticising Fernandes’ antics and rightly so, but ref gives a yellow to Baily when Alcacer feigned being elbowed. There’s an element of if you can’t beat em, join em. Grealish doesn’t strike me as the worst by any means, but does encourage contact from opposing players, which is a different thing.
