yes i was always doubtful he would ever be able to sustain a career in 1st class football because of them.

Everything about him would have been well documented so the club must be confident they can get him fit otherwise they wouldn't have signed him.

As for him being a panic buy that is not true, he said himself we had been talking for weeks and someone on here was told by Royle he was signing. There are plenty of other mid fielders we could have bought for 12m if it was a panic buy.
