Am I missing something. He hasn't got a professional contract, so he can just go cant he, its not a case of he wont be sold. We would have to settle for a development fee
Why not just take him to the states?
Does seem a bit odd if we're trying to convince him to stay at the club. With a year to go on his contract not sure this was the most sensible move.
Surely that could have helped said impasse? What harm would it have done to have him there. He's been training with the first team anyway
Foden for romantic reasons obviously, but for 'practical' ones, the saddest would be if Brahim would leave, for me at least. I think his ceiling is something else even compared to someone like Sancho, but I'm obviously an armchair scout at most. :)Would be a real shame if we lost him. I'd be more gutted if foden left tbh, however if Sancho does end up leaving let's hope it gives the club a reality check. We have been abysmal when it comes to first team chances
I know but he says they are ready to pounce. I'm sure they didn't call City to say that they're ready to punch, so I can't see how any source at City would know which clubs, if any, are ready to pounce.
Sam Lee has tweeted that it was Guardiola's decision to leave him at home, and nothing to do with his contract situation.
