Not that I believe the Sun, but can you imagine that kind of money at 17???
Didnt johnson get a 50k a week contract I know he was a few years older but that was an awful lot of money back then for us and generally for a young player. So 30k a week for this kid who has it all is fine by me.
As he's yet to sign a pro deal he'll be one of the most sought after kids in the country at the moment. He's got a reputation that's sky high so figures of 20k -30k to keep him at City might not be far off the mark.There's every chance other clubs may be trying to tempt him away with similar offers.

Very much so, with the involvement of agents etc. The numbers will take care of themselves in a football sense. Hope he is one of a few from current crop that makes the 1st team squad in the future.

It's his birthday today. If he's staying I expect a contract announcement this week.
Just realised Sancho, Foden, Latibeaudiere and possibly Poveda may not even feature in this years FA Youth Cup final if the dates are in May.
All will be involved in the U17 Euro's with England from the 3rd of May.
If true, Chelsea are going to miss a few players as well. FA Should bring both legs of the final forward if thats the case.

I think they will have to.
Those lads will be getting together by the end of April no doubt as well giving themselves a weeks preparation going into the tournament.
It would be a shame from both sides if the finals overlapped into May.
