Dortmund called him back after the group stages.
apparently Madrid are interested in signing him. Think we are doing to regret losing him in years to come. I hope we give the kids opportunities on Tuesday against wolves.
Possibly he looks a prospect alright but we had no choice as he wouldn't sign a new deal, was missing training etcetera we had to let him go.

I know but the bottom line is we don't give the kids enough of a chance. We need to treat the league cup, and to a certain extent the FA cup, as competitions to blood some of our best youngsters. Otherwise more will look to move.

That is what I meant, how can you do that ?
I thought if a player is called up to an international tournament then they are on international duty until they are out of said tournament at the earliest ?
