I don't have much sympathy to be honest. At school/work/pubs we had these southern United fans who were obnoxious. They thought because they supported a club that won medals their opinion was superior and anyone else was irrelevant. Shitty comments about why do you support this club if they win nothing, what's the point etc.

Now they're in that situation and desperate to be relevant, Neville, Scholes, Butt, Keane all gazing into each other's eyes telling anecdotes of times gone by, desperate for it to come flooding back.

Ten Hag couldn't keep his trap shut, just like him with Ronaldo, who in turn spoke out. Now Sancho is speaking out. Instead of holding your hands up on the defeat you point to a prick who isn't playing.

any football fan whos born and bred in london, surely should support one of their local sides?? its not as if london doesnt have enough big sides does it?? I find it really really weird for londoners to support united. i get the glory hunting side of it, but christ on a bike, they cant have the same passion or love for a club thats 100's of miles away surely??? i cant get my head around it.

i dont suppose you saw/heard on talkshite yesterday, the arsenal season ticket holder who supports united!!??!!!

I've never seen that before. To think that it was a young lad the same age as Phil is remarkable - you might expect it from a much more experienced prima donna, but not a young kid. Spoilt twat; needed it knocking out of him years before.
Anyway - thanks for the money, Dortmund and United.

I was born in the 80s and all Alan Hansen ever was to me was an increasingly irrelevant pundit. Football moves quickly, and while it has a decent historical-industrial complex young kids aren't going on YouTube to watch old school The Big Match or Match of the Day footage.

Teenager's being moody? whatever next? ;)

It was a definite red flag, but his current problems sounds more like his major problem is that he's not got any more mature since.
