Jadon Sancho

MEN clearly stating 15% sell on clause and 1st refusal clause.

So , if he is sold to rags / PSG for 100m - we get 15m.

This is of course in addition to the 8m we got previously from Dortmund

So 23-25m for Sancho if the above happens ....ain't a bad deal.....he wasn't getting to be ahead of sterling/ sane and Mahrez

City's sell-on clause and more profit
Another part of the deal taking Sancho to Dortmund sees City get 15 per cent of any sale to another club over the £8m that they sold him for. There is, however, no specific clause relating to United - unlike the case with Brahim Diaz.

The more clubs interested in signing the 18-year-old, the more chance there is of an inflated fee. In the last three years, City have made £165m from selling 17 players that have made just 33 appearances between them, and if Sancho went elsewhere for £100m that would add another £13.8m to the tally of sales.

City are given flak both for their struggles in bringing young players through to the first team and for allowing Sancho to leave, but that is a sizable pot of money to throw back at critics in response.

Well I can't claim any information either way but I hope Tolm is correct as that would be better for us.

I remember reading a while back on here from someone apparently also in the know that we have both. So who knows?

Dortmund have denied it when asked and said all we have is the right to match any offer they accept.

It would.

See my above post. Pretty much settles it ! Sell on clause

I was told we have a buy back clause by someone who usually knows these things but that means zilch if Sancho doesn’t want to return.

Is anyone worried he will end up at the rags? I wouldn’t be if they don’t get CL, but if they do, they have the money to tempt him plus they can guarantee him a 1st team place as they are crying out for a right attacker.

Personally I think he’d be mad to leave Dortmund. Should stay there at least for another season.

The hype around this kid is out of control. I have no idea how good he is or will be but I very much doubt he is in the 100m value range at the moment.

Lets the Rags piss away their money. We got fair value for him at the time we sold him and will no doubt benefit from a sell-on clause.

Plus, we are probably growing another one just like him in the Academy right now.

I wish that was true mate but he’s the real deal. We had a golden generation in our academy and Sancho was the shiny gem. Foden might go on to have a better career, who knows, I hope so, but make no mistake Sancho is here to stay.

I don’t think we have anyone who comes close in our academy now that has the talent he showed at 16.

Let’s wait and see if he’s any good yet. He’s currently behind Theo Walcott at similar ages.

He may turn out to be a Sterling or he may turn out to be Walcott.

He looks very exciting, but I think we’re all aware his abilities are being vastly blown out of all proportion because of his time with us.

I understand that he is being told that he has to work harder and has had a loss of form; cue agent's talk about interest from elsewhere.
