I think Upemacano is right too. With Angelino in the equation.
Angelino has been nothing short of a success at Leipzig. Their 3ATB system with Laimer as a Kanté esque CDM allows him to get forward as much as a winger which really suits him. His offensive qualities has never been in doubt, he's great technically and can whip a really good cross. His 25m option to buy clause may be a bit too steep. But Upamecano's buyout clause is at 55m, so maybe Angelino + 35m could do it

Said it before but if they over value Angelino at £25m we can then pay over his release clause and everyone is happy
We get a cb they get a left back and a big fee
Sounds good in my head

Why would you want to pay more than you have too?

Wouldn't buy his right leg, even with our discount.

£25m is the fixed price for Angelino to Red Bull.

Gundo won't be going anywhere. New deal last summer after holding out for an additional year.

sorry to thread jump but is it likely angelino goes to Leipzig anyway? Even if upamecano doesn’t come here?

Only see Sancho going to Chelsea.

£100m gives us £15m sell on fee + Angelino money gives us a good go at Houssem Aouar of Lyon.

If we do sell Sane it gives us a good chunk to buy a new CH in Skriniar

We move out Cancelo we buy Somedo

Leaves us 1 player & we are done for this year & it's a new LB

Who that may be but we definately need 1 imo

So money from Sancho sale, Cancelo, Otamendi, Angelino, Sane, should bag us around £150m

That's top money in this current climate, add another 50m & we could see a decent transfer window.

With current climate

Somedo £45m
Skriniar £60m
Aouar 45m
Alaba 50m

That's all we need until Sergio leaves next year.

chavs won’t spend that on one player imo. Roman isn’t investing as much as he once was let alone after this covid crisis? I think sancho would come back here no problem but it’s peps pride that will probably stop it. Perfect window for me would be:

steffen
Semedo
Upamecano
Alaba
Auoar
Sancho

out

bravo
Cancelo
Otamendi
Tosin
Angelino
David Silva
Leroy Sané
Jack Harrison
Patrick Roberts
Alexia Garcia

Even more perfect would be to convince Sané to stay. I wonder if he'll stay now that Bayern's interest have seemed to cool down with their manager prefering other targets

Chelsea have money & decent money after 12 months of being banned

They will bag Sancho

Citys cash will come from sales with maybe 40-50m of own cash added imo

Wages saved from Silva, Sane, Bravo, Cancelo, Nico & Angelino maybe around £600.000 a week will spread nicely

We could be moving out 6 forreign players also

You let young players go when you don't trust them and spend your time chasing Alexis Sanchez.

Having also just signed Bernardo to supplement Sterling and Sane. It’s similar to when people demonised Sturridge for looking elsewhere when Hughes was selecting Ched Evans and Caicedo ahead of him - players of a certain talent rightly back themselves, and it’s the coaches who don’t facilitate a clear pathways for them that should be held accountable.

There's too many factors to lay the blame solely at the managers door.

We didn't let him go

He fucked off
Hi did, but to be fair, he backed his talent and confidence and he was totally justified in doing so, he made the right call and his move has been an outstanding success.
Respect and good luck to him.
