Dortmund are free to sell to who they want all we get is the slice of fee and we only get the percentage once

I get that, what I’m asking, is could you contractually force Dortmund (in this example) to insert another sell on fee to the next club which would also go to us? In the rules..

Nope Sancho is still their player and we can't alter anything what we have agreed when have sold him to Dormund.

Not sure I’m explaining myself correctly. As part of a deal to be sold, a condition of the sale would be to get a future percentage of any fee (which is normal), but could you insert a clause, that means when they sell, instead of them inserting a sell on fee that goes to them with the new buying club, the sell on fee also has to go to us...

and if they don’t agree there is no sale.

We can't alter it

I get the question. Interesting proposition. (Obviously can't back date it in the case of Sancho, but say we sold Garcia to Barca...) Legally, I can't see why not, but I suspect that it may break Fifa Transfer rules.

That’s my question!! Does it break rules? I don’t see why it does.

I was just using Sancho as an example, but yeah, if we sold Garcia.

You could just add it in forever if it’s not against the rules, get the buying club to agree to it and get that agreement written up so they have to force that on the next buying club, wouldn’t be our problem.

Edit:- Just realised I’ve hijacked this thread, apologies.
