Jalapeños are great just on a ham and/or cheese butty, elevates it to new realms.
But I guess like the curry thread this is inevitably going to descend into a macho dick measuring contest about who can take the hottest chilis even though after a certain point they just taste like shit and overpower the food

Love all chillies with the exception of those awful pickled ones you tend to get as garnish on a kebab. soggy chilli with a mouthful of vinegar does nothing for me., I wish they used fresh finely chopped ones as a garnish instead.

The best chilis are roasted and are from Hatch, New Mexico, USA.

I call them Japalenos, it pisses the misses off so much
Chile reyenos are the ultimate !

I love jalapeños and consume them with a variety of dishes both fresh (In homemade salsas,sushi rolls), pickled for tacos & pizza and on the grill

Speaking spanish means there's only one way to pronounce them

But post confinement they are harder to come by here, previously quite easy to find habaneros too
