I think it’s probably more likely that we are gonna put pressure on Musiala to force Bayern to pay him to fend off interest in order to make it harder for them to afford Wirtz. I’m sure we’d be happy with either player but can’t let Bayern have a free run at having both

You could be right.
I agree with this, walker had essentially been providing the width recently allowing foden to play as an inside forward who can driftHe’s got an audition that lasts until Xmas.
I get the feeling Foden will roam from the right more and take Bernardo’s spot, leaving room for Musiala/Wirtz to replace KDB.

Chelsea have form for letting talented players slip through their fingers, to be fair. Off the top of my head, KDB and Salah spring to mind. And I'm guessing that there's more, if you thought about it for five or 10 minutes.Am I correct in thinking he was at Southampton when he was very young and then went to Chelsea.
