I started this thread as a bit of a piss take but I'm now sat here listening to James videos on YouTube.

This is heartbreaking and brilliant.

I've only ever seen James once, at Sheffield Leadmill in 2012. A doubleheader with Echo and The Bunnymen. A brilliant gig and one of my top 10 favourite gigs.

Saw them a bunch of times early on, including when they upstaged The Smiths at the Palace. Always fantastic live and hard to pick a favourite. International (II?) with The Stones Roses (who were shite) as support, may have been the best.

Gmex 90 was good. My best memories are of them playing the Ritz with the Mondays in 88,. Or sat down in the Town Hall.
