Haha. I remember being on holiday in Cala D’Or constantly checking for news it had gone through. Seemed to drag right on.

The world of football (ball playing centre halves) moved quicker than he did unfortunately. He’d have been brilliant if teams didn’t convert to possession-based football given his strengths. Shame really.
